Stop your bitching about the new format, assholes!  See, what happened is Squarespace rolled out version 2.0 and my old layout, which I LOVED, is…deprecated, I guess.  Theoretically, I could still use it, but I wouldn’t be able to access the new features and whatnot.  Fuckers.  None of the new layouts remotely resemble my old, awesome one and this is the only one that I could stand without sitting down and twittering with it for a couple of hours, so until  I have enough spare time to go through the customization process, get used to it, bitches.  Be thankful I didn’t pick the one with the orange blocks.

Well the red is worse w. the remaining greens and browns. I like the pink accents tho. Makes this seem much more like a meta entry at fuggingitup.

Seriously tho about this deprecation stuff, how does that term get applied to a web layout? Like the Squarespace design gods didn't approve of a nice tasteful layout so now you are all required to combine multiple high contrast colors from the Fluids and Mucuses pallette exclusively?

I'll second Jessica on this. Having started the stone of change to rolling I don't know that I will ever be satisfied, maybe you could have seasonal layouts?

This one (grey and stripey) makes me feel as tho I'm watching a "classic" black and white film, probably a drama or maybe a spy movie.

i haven't changed the color scheme, but i can, and will, eventually. the sucky part is, you can't customize the little diagonal stripes which are my least favorite part.

now yer talking--i'm assuming this is still version 2.0 since the funny little people are still there--this way i won't have to downsize my browser whilst reading waste of tape at work so as not to be too obvious about, you know, not working. which is actually not all that effective, seeing as how the downsized window is a pretty big tip-off.

this one i can definitely live with. it's not as structured as the original one, but those colorful blocks and such are pretty annoying. simplify, simplify, simplify!
