I completely forgot to mention it, but congratulations of the highest order to Liz and J(ason) on their engagement! We here at Waste of Tape (and by we, I guess I just mean me) wish them decades of health, happiness, shade and sweet water.

Okay, just a little warning, now:  NERD ALERT!!!  I read a lot of wanker fandom blogs:  it’s fun and it relieves me of the urge to be a wanker fangeek myself.  Seriously, it’s like a meeting of the There But For The Grace of God Go I Club.  Shiver My Timber , a pirate RPG, has all of these random generators that make me laugh laugh laugh, so I am going to share, because, hey, nerdiness is catching, you know?  First of all, this pirate’s name  be Mad Maggie Silver and I captain the Unruly Ghost , arrh.  That, of course, is merely incidental: the best thing on this site is the Ultimate Fandom OTP Generator (for you n00bs, OTP stands for One True Pairing—if you’re a dorky slash artist writing your awful fan fiction, that is) which I CANNOT STOP using because it is teh hilarious, especially the little graphics.  My finest examples, to date:
